Welcome to the Sports Factory, a 4000 square foot indoor sports training facility located in Milford Connecticut. The Sports Factory will offer speciality clinics in the following sports; Soccer (Goalkeeper and field player clinics), Lacrosse, Field Hockey, and others. We will also offer speed and sport specific training programs that focus on speed development, quickness, agility, jumping ability, explosiveness, reaction time, and strength. Our facilities offer open field times that can be reserved for practices, recreational games, parties and private lessons. (To view a schedule of our open field times please visit the Schedule Field Time section.)

Breakaway Training

The Sports Factory now offers the newest training program for the female athlete. Breakaway Training combines special interval treadmill runs, agility, core strength, jump training and soccer specific skills to fully prepare you for the high level of intensity that soccer demands. The training consists of three programs, pre-season, in-season, and post season. Each program is designed to meet the requirements that each soccer season brings. Whether you're a field player or goalkeeper, we have a program specifically for you. Every program comes with two free sessions, a pre and post test of speed, strength and agility to guarantee improvement. By engaging in an all female soccer environment, the athlete will be able to strive without the stress of having a normally male-dominated sport environment. Breakaway Training is unique compared to other soccer training companies because it is devoted to the success of the female athlete. That's why breakaway training gives you the edge to break away from the average to become the ELITE!!

Each program is for girls ages 9 and up

Post Season Training (December – April)

Pre Season Training (May—August)

In Season Training (September– November)

Pre Season (6 weeks)

High intensity work outs built for the passionate athletes. These intense training sessions get the athlete fully prepared for their upcoming season.

12 Treadmill interval runs, strength training days

12 Agility and jump training days with core strength

6 weeks, 4 x a week, 90 min

In Season (8-10 weeks)

Allows athlete to continue building speed, endurance, and strength

No sports specific because they are in season.

12 Treadmill days combined with jump training, strength, and core exercises

2 x a week for 60 min - 8 weeks OR 10 weeks

Post Season (6 weeks) Starting Now!!!

Designed to keep the athletes speed, endurance, and strength up during the off-season.

12 Treadmill interval runs and strength days

6 Agility, jump training, and core strength days

3 days/week – 90 minutes – 6 weeks

Team Training (5 weeks)

Come in as a team and increase your speed, strength and conditioning.

5 Treadmill interval runs combined with agility, jump training and strength exercises

Once a week for 2 hours - must have at least 14 players for team training

The perfect combination of interval training and strength training to get back into, or keep yourself in shape!
Come in once a week for 1 hour and enjoy a great workout.

Do you have children? That's ok just bring them with you. One of our staff will monitor them on our sports field while you get your workout in!! They will play games, learn different sports, and most of all have fun in a safe and friendly environment.
